when i cannot run Pipistrelle on Windows 7 OS?

Hi Gordon,

This is Zhidong. I got two issues,

  1. I cannot log in the Fluid Earth using the ID: ZZhang. I think the ID and password are correct, but I don’t know why I cannot log in.
  2. When I run Pipistrelle on Windows 7 OS, the error message shows that “An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)”. you can read the error message on line 86 in Composition.txt (please see attached).

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Zhidong,
i've put your problem to Adrian Harper, who suggests that the most likely problem is not a Windows 7 incompatibility but a 32bit/64bit problem.
this page seems to suggest that you might have some of your code compiled for 32bit architecture and some for 64bit.
it would probably be worth making sure that each of your solutions is compiled 32 bit and see if that fixes things. if it does, you might then want to recompile everything 64 bit but to do this you may need to download the sdk source code to compile that too.
i have asked Quillon to check that your account password is still working - hopefully he will have fixed it by the next time you log on.
hope this helps - let me know if not.

Hi Zhidong,
I will need to issue you with a new id and password, but I don't have a record of your current email address. Please could you email Fluid Earth Admin and I will arrange a new id.
